Together with other investment partners, ECS aimed to drive the company's repositioning with a product-centric strategy and drive internationalization, combining existing and new members of the management team, and leveraging on the company’s profound insurance knowledge and customer loyalty. Some of the highlights of our combine ownership included the following initiatives:

• Expanded i2S's market beyond Portugal, with business from international activities achieving a significant portion of total revenues
• Developed a new version of life and non-life segments software solutions
• Grew Revenues by 43%
• Grew EBITDA by 42%

Focused on maximizing the commercial potential of i2S’s product in key markets, ECS and its partners sought a strategic investor to further drive growth. Favourable market conditions and i2S's privileged competitive position resulted in a successful divestment in 2019, to an international IT group.
