The website www.ecs.pt (“Website”) was created by, belongs to and is operated by ECS – Sociedade Gestora de Fundos de Capital de Risco, S.A., a limited liability company by shares (sociedade anónima), incorporated and existing under the laws of Portugal, with registered office at Avenida da República, 23, parish of Avenidas Novas, borough of Lisbon (1050-185), registered with the Commercial Registry Office under number 507959949, with the share capital of €750.000,00 (seven hundred fifty thousand euros), registered with the Portuguese Securities Market Commission under number 063414 (“ECS SGFCR”).

Access and use of the Website is governed by the following terms and conditions of use (“Terms of Use) which are biding between the Website users (“User“ or “Users”) and ECS SGFCR.

The Users acknowledge that in using this Website they accept these Terms of Use. If the User does not agree to these Terms of Use, he should not access this Website.

When using the Website, Users must also consult the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

Users may access the Website through their browser. ECS SGFCR is however exclusively entitled to, at any time, interrupt, temporarily or permanently, and/or suspend access to the Website, whether partially or entirely, notably for the management, maintenance, repair, modification or updating of the Website, and to, at any time, shut down the Website, whether permanently or temporarily and whether partially or entirely.

The information provided on the Website seeks to explain and introduce ECS SGFCR’s activity to Users and does not constitute any kind of consultancy, recommendation or advice on investments or any other matters, nor any kind of commercial offer.

ECS SGFCR will use its best endeavours to include accurate and up-to-date information whenever possible, but provides no guarantee or representation as to its accuracy or completeness.

It is the concern of ECS SGFCR that the Website meets the level of satisfaction expected by the User. There are, however, guarantees that cannot be assumed, as listed below.

Under no circumstances shall ECS SGFCR be liable for any indirect or consequential damages whether in contract or tort, which may result from its acts or any failure to act in relation to the Website, and gives no guarantee as to the functioning and security of the same.
