TdL is an office complex in Lisbon of which ECS invested in a 33.000 sqm GLA section, spread across 3 buildings. The asset was stranded within the insolvency process of a large European property group.
Investment
After successfully taking possession of the asset through a debt to equity deal, ECS repositioned the properties, increasing visibility and attractiveness among tenants, which resulted in a significant increase in occupancy to a level close to 90%, materially higher rent levels and a more solid tenant base, under longer leases.
Divestment
In 2018, the divestment was successfully concluded through a sale to a large international family office, at a significant profit.
